Dear Alan, Lorna & Girls,

                It was so lovely talking to you on the  phone on Monday – the Hayes are at Southbroom and wanted us to go down with them for a few days  – but we declined as I thought you would be phoning – also on Sunday Sheila & family came for the day …………………….

                Sherry has passed this year but …………………..

We had beautiful hot weather 34 C for the weekend & Monday now its freezing cold & drizzly but still no rain.

                We have had friends just about every day for the last 2 weeks – so I shall be glad to go to Aunty Maureen’s tomorrow for a good rest – we will be there for as long as it takes to install Aunty Maureen R13800 kitchen, in oak, that Lionel has made for them. We are waiting for the Hayes to arrive now & spend the night & then off at first light tomorrow. Hope the kombi gets us there & back again – it really was a bad buy.

                Well must go & water all my indoor plants before I leave.
