Dear Allan, Lorna & Girls,
Well
its Sherries 10th birthday to-day so Debbie baked a cake & we had a little
party here this afternoon, but she will have a party on Sunday afternoon.
Ronald has been made a charge Hand (I think) with a nice increase I am so happy
for him as he needs boosting up. He goes to Durban next week on a course so I
hope he does well.
Neal,
Vanessa & Boys & Sheila, Ronald & family were all here for the
weekend plus Jonathon and they all had a good time – they went to the dam early
on Sunday morning & took the boat & Donavan can now ski. The Ronald Smiths were on a caravan rally at
Escort. The Collinghams have been
keeping a low profile since I choked them off. Anyway Jenny phoned to-night and
we had a good chat & I spoke to all the children & they seem to have
settled nicely in Bergville & are doing lots of sport, etc. You will love
this one, while Debbie & Lionel were at Jenny’s, Jimmy & Lionel went out supposedly fishing, but went to the
hotel……………………………………………………………
You can’t
get much on these air letter cards – but why I really wrote was because I was
worried about Jolene & Stacey – please write soon and let us know about
Stacey especially. The children have all received their parcels but Johnathon.
Hope ours arrived also the costume for Stacey. I am busy sewing & knitting
& trying to get a parcel off for Stacey for her birthday. I bought Fay her
first pair of shoes today for her birthday & she loves them & keeps
showing everybody. Saw Aunty Kay in town today. Her husband was in a bad car
accident…………………………………………...
Tons
of love to you all.
Dad,
Mum & family
