Dear Mum et al,
I’ve arrived safely etc. I stayed at the YMCA for a few
nights @ met people from Swiss, England, Zambia etc.
It’s a strange country and any white who hops on the wrong
bus will quickly get told to get off by the blacks. It is very difficult to
talk to a black because of their chronic resentment.
It looks like I’ve got a job for the Dept of Health working
in Soweto but my work permit hasn’t been finalized.
