Dear Alan, Lorna & Girls,

This is just going to be a very short note as we hope to be off tomorrow to Jenny for the weekend. Dad has his last treatment tomorrow & if all goes well we will pick Regan up from school then go straight to Bergville.  On Monday we leave for the Hayes & on Wednesday go to Kruger where we are booked in Crocodile Bridge – Lower Sabi – Olifants & Mopani Camps a night in each then 1 night in Pilgrims Rest then back to Vereeniging for a couple of days then home.

Jenny started lecturing, on Monday & has been staying with the Pages who are coming to Bergville over the weekend to visit us – so we are looking forward to seeing them.

My sleeve was wet from washing dishes so it has wet the paper here, but it will dry soon.

Dad is keeping very well & goes into hospital in October for a check-up & then we hope to know whether the treatment has worked or not.

Melissa must be in Seattle now she is in my thoughts all the time I’ll phone Debbie on Saturday to find out how she’s done – please keep all paper cuttings & try & video the race for us , we are borrowing Lionel’s’ video camera to take to Kruger – so will send you  a copy if it comes out well.

All the rest of the family are well – Matthew spoke to me on the phone today calls me Papa or Nan & Dad grandpa he really is cute.
